Hi all!

Well it's all go here, stickers and samples have arrived and everything's in various stages of production! Thanks everyone who's completed surveys, those of you who have done this, your cards should now have been charged for shipping and any add-ons you added in the survey stage. There have been a couple of failed charges so you may need to check that this hasn't happened to you.

Now to the samples....



My tea towel samples have arrived and they're amazing quality, I knew they would be as I've used this fab manufacturer before. I've done a couple of tweaks to some colours and ordered another samples to make sure they're perfect before I put the whole order in. Pins are in production as I type, and I'm waiting on the sample pics from my coaster manufacturer, so far, so on track! It's been lovely seeing which designs you all picked.

Hi all!

It's time to put your thinking caps on and start picking your designs! I sent all surveys out yesterday, thanks so much to lots of you who have already filled them out, you’ll have hopefully received an email from me with a special link to your BackerKit survey. Make sure to check your spam if you can't find it! It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since I need this information to get a accurate idea of what I need to make to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. Just click the survey link in the email to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. 

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys and get the final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://birds-and-blooms.backerkit.com/

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://birds-and-blooms.backerkit.com/faq

Hi everyone!!

First and most importantly a massive THANK YOU to everyone who backed the campaign, we absolutely powered through all the stretch goals!!! Now straight on to the all important next steps....

PAYMENTS
Backerkit has already attempted and, mostly successfully, charged you for you pledge payments. But there have been a few failed attempts so please do make sure to check to see if yours is one of these and make any adjustments needed for these to clear. There's two weeks for you to correct these issues before Backerkit sends me the funds etc to start ordering your lovely goodies! Sometime banks can flag payments as unusual so you may need to check to ensure this has not happened.

SURVEYS
Once the funds have been transferred I'll be sending out surveys for you all to start picking which designs you'd like. There'll also be a chance to add-on items some of which weren't featured during the run of the campaign, payments for these and shipping fees will be taken at the end of the survey. Please fill out surveys as quickly as possible so I know what quantities to order and I can then start doing so asap.

PRODUCTION & FULFILLMENT
After the survey deadline (roughly a week after they're sent out) I'll start placing my orders with my manufacturers. Depending on the items you ordered things will be dispatched at varying times. Tea towels have the longest lead time as they take 4 weeks to produce and I'll also be getting sample made first to make sure colour is exactly as it should be. Coasters and the other items are roughly 2-3 weeks. My aim is to have orders starting to send out and mostly finished in July.

SHIPPING
If any of you have any experience with both local and international postage I know you'll sympathise with the sometimes tricky task of estimating shipping costs. I've followed the formula I have used in all my previous Backerkit campaigns which has worked well, but an occasional overcharge may occur. If this does happen any and all accidental postage overcharges will be refunded ASAP.

If you missed out on backing the campaign the pre-order store is now open, this is the only place you will get some of these items at the special reduced price!

With a little over 3 days left to go on the campaign I'm excited to report we're only £13 away from unlocking the final mini pin stretch goal!!!



With a couple of recent pledges the owls, penguin and chicken have been unlocked and we're now just waiting on the more flashy of the mini pin pairings. Thank you all so much for such incredible support, your bird loving selves have been amazing!
